While Teresa Giudice has been said to be dodging jail time after she pleaded guilty for fraud, new reports say The Real Housewives of New Jersey is looking at the bright side of possibly spending time behind bars.

Teresa's 'RHONJ' Co-Stars React to Guilt Plea

A source told In Touch Weekly magazine, "Teresa thinks that if she goes to jail, it'll only make her more famous. She thinks she'll be redeemed - and then become even more popular and be able to make a fortune."

Giudice is still taping for the upcoming sixth season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey until her sentencing July 8. The insider added that she's definitely using her legal drama to her advantage on the show as well.

Teresa's Loyalty to Joe in Question?

"She knows she has to let them film in order to be the star and central storyline of the show. This is her moment," the source added.

Teresa and her husband Joe pleaded guilty recently to constructing a scheme, involving bankruptcy and mortgage fraud, which went on for almost 10 years. Still, Teresa's co-star Kim DePaola, who also works as a life coach with the Budd Larner law firm, believes that Teresa is innocent.

She told the magazine, "I'm not slamming Joe, but I truly still stand firm that Teresa was having babies and going for lunch and having fun [and didn't know] what she was signing."

Teresa hasn't said much since pleading guilty but she and Joe are going on with their lives as normal. They went to support their daughters at a cheerleading competition just days after their plea, and Teresa also took to her Twitter to thank fans for standing by her and her family.

"Thank you all for your love & support of my family & my kids. You know how much they mean to me. I am keeping them protected & private. xx," she tweeted on March 6.

The new season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey kicks off later this year.
