Reports of Lively and Reynolds' canoodling began to surface back in 2010 while they were filming the Green Lantern, and were both still in three-year relationships of their own. She was dating her Gossip Girl love interest Penn Badgley, and he was married to Don Jon's cutie, Scarlett Johansson.

Allegedly unbeknownst to their now former significant others, Lively and Reynolds were not only dating behind the scenes, but also had a "top-secret wedding" in the works, gossiped the Daily News.

Badgley reportedly learned of Lively's big announcement around the same time that the media outlets began to buzz, but he still seemed happy for his ex-girlfriend and her future plans, nonetheless. A couple of years later, the couple said "I do," officially becoming Mr. and Mrs. Reynolds during their intimate September 2012 wedding ceremony. It is said that "how you get them is how you lose them," though. So did the superhero actor himself get nervous that his wife would run off with her new co-star, and that he wouldn't be able to save the day? Rather, it appears that he was caught in the rain.
