Jaime King is back in full force as Lemon Breeland on Hart of Dixie after maternity leave and the actress recently opened up about doing love scenes after having her first child.

During an interview with Pop Sugar posted Friday, she revealed that she has a love scene in which she had to wear lingerie.

"...Because I just had a baby I didn't wanna go all out. I was nervous because they didn't tell me until two days before and I was freaking out."

King, whose character Lemon is battling between two different guys, stayed tight-lipped about who the infamous love scene is with because she didn't want to spoil it for viewers. Still, she confessed that her husband, director Kyle Newman, encouraged her to go for it.

"I told him [about the lingerie scene] and said, 'Oh they just said I can do it in a blouse and skirt and they're fine with that. Because it's wrong to have me in lingerie after having a baby.' My husband's like 'Is that what [fits] best with the scene? Is that really the intent of the character?' Really all 'directory' on me and I'm like, 'No I guess not.'

I'm married so it's weird. There's still a part of me that can't separate that. I'm still like, 'I have to kiss a guy in front of my husband!'"

Despite being reluctant when it comes to wearing revealing clothes and being intimate with her co-stars, King revealed that she enjoys portraying Lemon as she continues to find herself.

"I think it's really fun to play her right now because she's in such a conundrum about who she is and who she's becoming, who she wants to be and who she was. It's stuff that every woman, every man... We all deal with it. It's really funny to see Lemon sort of acting like a little hooker."

As far as her big return to Hart of Dixie, King said working on the show will never be the same.

"It was more like going into outer space but trying to come back to earth but realizing you're never going to come back to earth again. Life has changed completely."

Hart of Dixie airs Fridays at 9/8c on The CW.
