It looks like Miriam Weeks, the porn actress and Duke University student, might be sticking with her plan to continue her education once college is over instead of making racy films.

Miriam Weeks Continues With Porn Despite Threats?

In a clip that was published on Thursday, the 18-year-old was on Bethenny where she talked about her future plans that do not involve X-rated films.

"My dream is to be like a civil rights lawyer or a lawyer for women's rights," Weeks said. "I'm trying to, you know, make a name for myself in the industry and make a brand for myself so that hopefully I can save up enough money to pay for law school and make smart business decisions."

The talk show host then mentioned that being a lawyer and being a porn star are two completely separate categories, but Weeks disagreed.

"I actually don't think so because the two go hand in hand because you know, you have first amendment rights, and then you also have your right to choice and women's rights come into play and women's rights advocacy comes into play," Weeks said.

When Weeks was asked how her porn career could affect her future, she pointed out that she wouldn't want to work anywhere that would turn against her for doing something that is apparently legit.

"Why would I want to work for anybody who would discriminate against somebody who's doing a perfectly legal regulated profession?" Weeks said. "I would never want to work for somebody like that."
