In November 2013 it was rumored that Top Gun's franchise player was not only still madly in love with his much younger ex, but that he was also interested in making amends on their relationship for the sake of their small daughter, 7-year-old Suri. Reportedly though, the reason Holmes left Cruise was largely due to his association with scientology, and since his beliefs haven't seemed to change much, such a reunion is probably unlikely.

Nevertheless, new reports suggest that Cruise's love life may not be suffering after all, as he recently might have stumbled across 31-year-old Mad Men actress, Elisabeth Moss, according to a Sunday report by Hollywood News Daily. The actress happens to dabble in scientology, as well.

According to sources, scientology studies a series of thoughts and practices established by a science fiction writer in 1952. Since its inception, scientology has been categorized as one of the most controversial new religious movements, and is criticized for being cult-like, "brainwashing and routinely defrauding its members." While Cruise's rumored new crush is not official, Hollywood News Daily shared, "Tom Cruise and Elizabeth Moss are reportedly set to become the next Mr. and Mrs. Tom Cruise, if Tom's fellow Scientologists have anything to do with it."
