The remaining All-Star teams on The Amazing Race are headed to Rome on their next leg of the race and may find themselves fending off gladiators who are out to hurt them.

Alliances Up The Level Of Competition On 'The Amazing Race?'

In a preview clip for the April 13 episode, the teams will encounter a task which involves them fighting Gladiators as one of their potential detours. Both John Erck and Jessica Hoel are seen having a turn in a sword fight with the gladiators, as well as Leo Temory and Jamal Zadran. Though they mostly appear to be having fun with the task, Zadran expresses concerns before stepping up to fight.

"I don't want to die," he says in the clip.

Rivalry Between The Cowboys and Afghanimals Gets More Intense?

The other potential Detour task during this leg appears to involve teams engaging in another reenacted ancient Roman activity, and conducting remote controlled chariot races.

However, despite the ease the teams appear to have with these tasks, a roadblock challenge involving the Spanish steps appears to give them some trouble as several members of the teams are seen going up and down the stairs several times.

I don't really have a great idea about what's going on right now," Nathan "Flight Time" Lang says in the clip as he works on the task.

During filming, several spoiler photos were leaked on various social media accounts which seem to hint at how rough the Rome leg was for teams.

In one photo, Dave O'Leary appears to check in at the Pit Stop mat without his son and teammate, Connor. Checking in without both team members hitting the mat does not count for official placement on the race, meaning the father/son team could encounter some trouble on the leg which could eliminate them.

A potential close finish is also possible for Globetrotters Flight Time and Big Easy, and the Afghanimal cousins, Leo and Jamal, as another photo surfaced which showed them arriving at the mat and checking in with show host Phil Keoghan at the same time. Keoghan appears to be smiling in the photo, which alludes to the two teams potentially not being eliminated during this leg.

Though it is unclear how they fared during the leg, country singers Caroline Cutbirth and Jen Wayne will also encounter an extra Speed Bump task on this leg, after placing last on the previous non-elimination leg in Sri Lanka.

The Amazing Race airs Sundays at 8 p.m. on CBS.
