Jillian Michaels has been a personal trainer on NBC's hit weight loss reality competition The Biggest Loser since it debuted in October 2004. Though she has left the show in seasons past, this time she might be done with the show for good.
At the end of Season 15, when winner Rachel Frederickson revealed her extreme makeover, controversy broke all throughout the media, and apparently Michaels wants absolutely nothing to do with it. "She wasn't happy with how last season went. The shocking weight loss of Rachel [Frederickson] doesn't do the brand any favors and she wants to distance her name from it," shared E! News Tuesday.
Reportedly, without a doctor's note, the 40-year-old fitness buff supplied contestants with caffeine supplements, and virtually broke the competition show's rules. However, it was later suggested that that was just a publicity stunt to boost The Biggest Loser's ratings.
Nonetheless, reports claim that Michaels did not like how the show dealt with the situation and how it basically hung her out to dry, leaving her to defend her reputation alone. "[She] did not appreciate how the caffeine pill controversy went down. She felt like they threw her under the bus," told a source. While there is not yet any official confirmation of Michaels' departure from the show, sources are saying she will definitely call it quits.
