Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has dished on some of the better moments in her life that followed her reported split from Ranbir Kapoor.

Deepika Padukone Excited To Work With Ranbir Kapoor Again?

On Thursday, Gulf News reported that the actress is nominated for three nominations in the Best Actress category at the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards, where she looked back on a winning moment that made a great impact on her.

"My first year at the IIFA's, where I won for my debut film. I will never forget that blue gown that I wore in Bangkok," she said. Her then-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor was there with her.

Padukone spoke more on what it was like to win that night with more details, which may or may not have consisted of Kapoor.

"It was a surreal moment," the actress said. "I was shooting for Love Aaj Kal in London at that time and we had flown from London to Bangkok. It was a weekend that I would never forget in my life."

Padukone had more films along the way, which made her into a bigger success, something she did not assume would happen.

"It feels great because you don't expect things to work out like this," she said. "But the idea was not to have so many releases in one year and neither did I expect to get nominations for all these films. Now I look forward to my performance in Tampa. It's been such a good year."
