Pop star Katy Perry might be taking her newly hatched single life to a new level ever since she was reportedly spotted getting frisky with her R&B friend Rihanna.

Katy Perry Hooked Up With DJ Diplo?

On Monday, Page Six reported that Perry and Rihanna were spotted dancing very closely together at a nightclub in New York where Oscar nominated actor Leonardo DiCaprio supposedly made an appearance. According to the site, someone saw "Rihanna and Katy doing a bump-and-grind dance together," and it was "one step away from a lesbian love scene!"

Apparently, DiCaprio watched the girl-on-girl action while Perry allegedly sprayed her friends with a bottle of Cristal. The two singers supposedly partied till about 5 a.m.

Katy Perry 'Devastated' Over John Mayer?

This leaves some speculation on what is going on between Perry and Rihanna mainly since the Birthday singer insulted her friend's rumored boyfriend Drake.

When Perry had a live interview with Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club, she compared the Hold On, We're Going Home star to Juicy J who appeared in her song Dark Horse.

"[Juicy J] is such a sweet, genuine guy. [He's] an amazing hard worker," Perry said. "I've worked with a lot of people that I've done little pieces on songs and not that they've got ego, but Juicy's the kindest. He's like the most kindest, sympathetic, sweet- I don't want to make him out like to be softer than Drake."

The pop star quickly made a save to her comment by adding, "I love Drake. He's like my secret diary."

There doesn't seem to be any word if Rihanna was insulted by the comment or not.
