It only took the entire third season but Zoe Hart is going to declare her love for her on-again-off-again boyfriend Wade in the season finale, Second Chance!

Zoe and Joel Call It Quits

And no it's not a dream, nor are either of them high on medicine like Wade was when he kissed Zoe a few episodes back. This is the real deal. In the sneak peek, Wade only has two days left in Bluebell, something that obviously makes Zoe upset as she calls a friend on the verge of tears and said, "He's leaving."

At a get together, Zoe lets it out and told Wade, "Today, I'm telling you, I love you."

Of course viewers will have to wait until the season finale airs to see Wade's reaction. But Zoe's proclamation definitely catches his attention.

When the season kicked off Wade was still very much in love with Zoe, even after she returned to Bluebell with her new beau Joel. This eventually lead him to fall into the arms of her estranged cousin, Vivian. But she ended up leaving town when her ex-husband popped back into the picture. It made millions of fans who have been waiting with expectation all season long for a Zoe and Wade or "Zade" reunions hopeful that the two would finally give it another try. It looks like all it took was the thought of Wade leaving Bluebell for Zoe to swallow her pride and let him know how she's felt all along.

Thankfully whatever happens, it won't be the last we see of the two as Hart of Dixie has been renewed for a fourth season.

A synopsis reads:

"IT'S NOT TOO LATE - Zoe (Rachel Bilson) tries to be a supportive friend to Wade (Wilson Bethel), but when she makes a grand gesture, Wade is forced to make a tough decision about his future with the Rammer Jammer and BlueBell. Lavon (Cress Williams) and George (Scott Porter) meet their hero Don Todd (guest star Reggie Hayes, "Girlfriends"), who helps them see things in their life more clearly. Grandma Bettie (guest star Maree Cheatham) tries to convince Lemon (Jaime King) that she has to take her search for a suitable husband more seriously. Meanwhile, AnnaBeth (Kaitlyn Black) is trying to picture her future with Davis (guest star Barry Watson). Bethany Rooney directed the episode written by Leila Gerstein"
