Many fans took to Twitter to express positive thoughts about Brown's release as well as excitement for potential new songs.

"That's wat I love about @chrisbrown he always put his music and fans first…" wrote one fan.

"Now that Chris Brown is out of jail, he can go back to making hits," tweeted another.

Fans have been waiting for Brown's sixth studio album, X, for quite some time now, but there's still no confirmed release date. The album will be the follow-up to Fortune, which was released in 2012 and went to No. 1 on Billboard.

The 25-year-old was detained since mid-March after he reportedly violated the rules of a court-ordered rehab facility. On May 9, Superior Court Judge James R. Brandlin also ordered Brown to stay in jail for 131 more days after the singer admitted that he was involved in a fight last year in Washington, D.C., which violated his probation.

Brown is still expected to complete the rest of his 1,000 hours of community service, of which he has about 800 hours left, according to reports.
