Teen Wolf's Agent McCall will be sticking around Beacon Hills for the foreseeable future, and Scott may have the chance to find out a little bit more about why his father took off in the first place.

Season 3B gave viewers with a little peek into Scott's (Tyler Posey) family history, but Melissa Ponzio claims that Rafael McCall (Matthew Del Negro) abandoned his wife and young son for reasons other than his dangerous drinking habit.

"We've had many on set discussions about The McCalls and what the future may bring...I think there is more to the story of why Agent McCall left, I think it's deeper," Ponzio explained to My Fanbase. "But we have a lot of story to tell, I don't know what [series creator] Jeff Davis will pull from next..."

Davis previously hinted that season 4 will see Scott and his pack deal with more problems stemming from real-life problems, and the potential presence of the paternal FBI agent may contribute to these teenage woes.

"[The premiere will] be the episode that starts the group in a new direction...It's going to take some time to get over [Allison's death], " Davis told Entertainment Weekly, pointing out one of Scot's more obvious problems. "But these resilient teenagers are going to have new challenges to face...What happens in season 4 is very human problems start to arise."
