It isn't slated to return to television screens until early 2015, but small details have already begun to leak about the second season of HBO dramedy series Looking.

The show, which followed the stories of three gay male friends as they searched for love in San Francisco, was renewed for a second season back in February despite relatively low ratings (the highest-rated episode attracted a small 519,000 viewers). Now, the official episode count for the show's second season has been revealed, and HBO has decided to increase the number of episodes the show would air.

According to TVLine, the series has been promoted from an eight-episode run to a ten-episode run in its second season.

HBO also promoted three fan-favorite characters to series regulars for the new season -- Lauren Weedman (Dom's acid-tongued roommate Doris), Raul Castillo (Patrick's boyfriend Richie) and Russell Tovey (Patrick's boss Kevin).

The series stars Jonathon Groff as Patrick, Frankie J. Alvarez as Agustin and Murray Bartlett as Dom.

Groff has also spoken out about what his dream sex scene on the show would entail.

Though he revealed to Scene magazine earlier this month that his dream guest star on the show would be Odd Future's Frank Ocean, his dream sex scene would include his C.O.G. co-star Corey Stoll.

"We had a potentially almost romantic scene, but then it turned out to be not romantic," he said of the short movie the two filmed together. "So I would like to fulfill that -- the starting of the relationship, and maybe have a love affair with Corey Stoll."

Looking season 2 is slated for an early 2015 premiere. No specific date has been revealed.
