The video, released by Sony Music Entertainment, plays very smoothly like a movie trailer, including an introduction of the stars, Lambert and Underwood.

The music video cuts across multiple narrative lines, starting with Lambert and Underwood singing in front of a mug shot screen, then cutting to them planning a bank robbery and conning a couple of tough guys at poker. The two ride motorcycles, board a helicopter, and even escape a massive explosion.

According to CMT, the video was coordinated to be released simultaneously on VH1.com, MTV.com, and CMT.com.

Underwood took to Twitter yesterday to promote the video. "Click. Watch. Repeat!" she wrote, "Check out me and @mirandalambert now in our video for 'Somethin' Bad!'"

Lambert has admitted to having been nervous when she first approached Underwood about the song, but her friend and fellow country singer was more than happy to perform with her. After they were done recording, Lambert even bought Underwood a motorcycle as a "thank you" present.

Lambert and Underwood performed the song at a number of award shows last month, receiving high praise from critics and fans alike.

Somethin' Bad is one of the singles from Lambert's fifth album entitled Platinum, which came out June 3.
