Dwight Howard trade rumors are starting to tire people down. Hall of Famer and TNT commentator Charles Barkley has gone as far as saying Howard is now "getting on my last damn nerve."

Barkley has been a strong supporter of Howard in the past but he has now come out to urge Howard to ensure a resolution is completed quickly. Speaking to Philadelphia radio station 97.5 The Fanatic on Thursday Barkley has said, "I love Dwight Howard as a person and as a player, but he's getting on my last damn nerve."

The frustrations come following reports of failed trade talks between the Orlando Magic and Brooklyn Nets earlier this week. According to reports the Nets were frustrated with the collapse of the deal, but quickly moved on and agreed new terms with center Brook Lopez. They signed him on a four-year contract with $60 million.

The extensive coverage Howard's trade rumors have received has gotten to Barkley, who said, "The last 24 hours it's been all Dwight Howard, non-stop. It's not fun; nobody wants to hear it. It's not good for the game, not good for the fans. I'm really sick of it."

Despite Barkley's general liking of the player, he has not held back in his criticism of the star where he feels it is deserved. He has said that he loves Howard as a "person and a player" but also told ESPN Dallas that Howard "needs to grow up and make a decision."

Howard, who usually plays center but can also play power forward, had an outstanding high school career at Southwest Atlanta Christian Academy. He chose to forgo college and entered the 2004 NBA Draft, and was selected first overall by the Magic. A six-time All-Star, six-time All-NBA team selection, five-time All-Defensive member, and three-time Defensive Player of the Year, Howard has been ranked consistently as one of the best in the league in rebounds, blocks, field goal percentage and free throw attempts, and has set numerous franchise and league records.
