True Blood is known for its sexy scenes and the cast is pretty comfortable, especially since two of them are married. But, what happens when a director isn't as at ease with the steamy lingo?

Star Anna Paquin (Sookie Stackhouse), who is married to Stephen Moyer (Bill Compton) in real life recently spilled to The Huffington Post about an awkward time with a new director on set.

"We had one director once, who will remain nameless, who was so uncomfortable that he couldn't even say the word 'breast,'" Paquin said. "It was me and [Alexander Skarsgård], and he was kissing me on the neck at the time, and [the director] was like, 'Okay, kiss her neck. Now kiss her lower neck. Now kiss her lower, lower, lower neck.' I was like, 'Dude, it's breasts.' Come on, this is, like, season four of True Blood. We can say 'breasts.' Or 'tits.' Or whatever."

Joe Manganiello Admits Dying On Show Was 'Sad'

Paquin is pretty easy-going about the True Blood sex scenes, especially since she had her husband direct in her one with co-star Joe Manganiello (Alcide). Moyer directed the first episode of Season 7 of the hit drama.

"There are moments where I'll be watching on a monitor [and say], 'Oh, Joe, just move your hand up towards Anna's breast. Good,'" Moyer told Entertainment Weekly. "And can you move your right thumb just a little bit towards her nipple? Great.'" And then I'll go, "Babe, babe, enjoy it." I'm certainly talking to her as "babe." "Darling, go for it. Yeah, feel the nipple."

True Blood is currently airing its last season on HBO.
