Labeled a terrorist organization and suddenly without SHIELD's vast international resources, Director Coulson (Clark Gregg) and his team must take help where they can find it.

"Last we saw them, they were being hunted," said co-creator Jed Whedon, according to Zap2It. "They were no one's friends. They're in a bit of a pickle when we find them."

To alleviate their outcast status, the lonely agents may pair up with a group that previously tried to destabilize the agency - Skye's (Chloe Bennet) Rising Tide.

"A huge part of Coulson's job right now is to sort of reach out and try to find all the resources he can get," explained co-creator Maurissa Tancharoen, according to Zap2It. "Does the Rising Tide play into that? Maybe."

Luckily, Coulson's crew will still have Agent Triplett (B.J. Britt) hanging "around a lot" through season 2, according to TV Line.
