With Fast and Furious 7 now in post-production and Guardians of the Galaxy hitting theaters on August 1, actor Vin Diesel took some time to update the media on his upcoming projects, which are all passion projects for the actor.

'Guardians' News: Director James Gunn Wants To Do A Sequel

Speaking with Collider, Diesel revealed that his next movie would be The Last Witch Hunter. He added that Michael Caine was added to the cast and shooting would commence soon.

"I'm about to do a movie with Breck Eisner called The Last Witch Hunter where I play a 700-year-old New Yorker, which should be a lot of fun," Diesel said. "Working opposite Michael Caine will be a blast. I've always wanted to work with Michael Caine so it'll be the first time I get to work with Michael Caine. Rose Leslie is also gonna be opposite me, she's amazing in Game of Thrones."

Marvel Sets Release Dates for 5 Untitled Films Through May 2019

The Last Witch Hunter is directed by Breck Eisner. The story follows the last remaining witch hunter battling against an uprising of witches in modern-day New York.

Following that, Diesel said the long in-development movie, Kojak, would come to Universal. A project that Diesel originally wanted Life of Pi director Ang Lee to helm, the film would follow a New York police detective. Telly Savalas played the detective in the original TV series of the same name.

After Kojak, Diesel told Collider that he plans on finally getting around to making xXx 3. Diesel starred in the first film with the follow-up, xXx: State of the Union, starring Ice Cube.

"I am going to do the next xXx which will be filming in part in the Philippines, which I'm very, very, very excited about," Diesel said.

While a director is not linked with the last two films, Diesel seems confident that both will be made in the coming years.

Diesel can next been heard as the voice of Groot in Guardians of the Galaxy.
