Marvel announced on Friday that it has set release dates for five untitled movies through May 2019.

'Ant-Man' Movie News: Marvel's Kevin Feige Explains Edgar Wright Departure

The list so far, including this year, is: Guardians of the Galaxy, released on August 1, 2014; Avengers: Age of Ultron, released May 1, 2015; Ant-Man, released on July 17, 2015; and Captain America 3, released on May 6, 2016. There are also two untitled Marvel movies scheduled for July 8, 2016 and May 5, 2017.

On Friday, Marvel said the newly released dates are: July 28, 2017; November 3, 2017; July 6, 2018; November 2, 2018; May 3, 2019. This means there is a possiblility of three Marvel movies in 2017.

'Guardians Of The Galaxy' Nathan Fillion's Role Revealed, 'Castle' Star To Have Cameo

Right now the best bets for the two untitled dates in July 2016 and May 2017 would have to be director Scott Derrickson's Doctor Strange and either another Thor or Avengers movie. There also is the possibility that if Guardians of the Galaxy succeeds, which it is tracking to do so right now, then a sequel could possibly be on the way for that.

There is also the possibility for standalone movies for characters like Hawkeye, played by Jeremy Renner, or Black Widow, played by Scarlett Johansson. Not to mention the Hulk standalone movie that has been teased by both Lou Ferrigno and current Hulk actor Mark Ruffalo.

While most of it is up to speculation, the timing is fair with Comic-Con coming up and the rumors that Warner Bros. will announce a long-term schedule for their slate of DC Comics movies, including a Justice League movie in 2017.

It is also fair to mention that another Iron Man is a possibility as those have been some of Marvel's most profitable movies, but the only negative factor with that is star Robert Downey Jr. only being signed on for two more Avengers flicks.

For now, Marvel at least has a concrete idea of what the future holds for them.
