Sherlock's Mentor Search Chatter

Sommer was in one episode of Elementary in Season 2 and it seems unclear if he'll be a recurring character or not.

Some other characters are expected to join the series, including an apprentice for Holmes and a boyfriend for Joan. TV Line recently announced that Ophelia Lovibond will play the apprentice while Raza Jaffrey will be playng the love interest. Jaffrey's character named Andrew might be one to watch out for though since the site mentioned that he's supposed to be the "anti-Sherlock." He will likely have some issues that will be brought into the series that could involve Sherlock, and might even make things difficult for Joan.

Meanwhile, Sherlock is trying to stay on Joan's good side after spending nearly a year away in London while being careful around Andrew. There's a possible chance though that this might end up with unfortunate results.

Elementary Season 3 is expected to premiere on Thursday, October 30 at 10 p.m. ET on CBS.
