The Dark Knight Rises spoilers have been surfacing on the Internet to give viewers insight on what to expect when the film premieres in theatres this Friday. Most reviews have praised the final installment of the Batman trilogy, even saying it is worthy of Oscar recognition. However, others have also shared spoilers suggesting the film is not as great as the previous installment.

The Dark Knight Rises was "grandiose not grand," Marshall Fine of Hollywood and Fine posted on RottenTomatoes.com, a site where users can critic films. Christy Lemire of the Associated Press had similar sentiments when she posted that the film "lacked the spark that gave 2008's 'The Dark Knight' such vibrancy."

Fans were in such uproar regarding the negative feedback, that RottenTomatoes.com had to close user comments for "The Dark Knight Rises" on the site.

However, far more reviews indicate that "The Dark Knight Rises" will be a unprecedented hit around the world and everyone will enjoy it.

A review from THR has stated, "Big-time Hollywood filmmaking at its most massively accomplished, this last installment of Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy makes everything in the rival Marvel universe look thoroughly silly and childish."

That description is enough to get any Batman fan excited. The review continues, "It's a blockbuster by any standard."

Other reviews have included spoilers too, and if you want to know what goes on towards the end of the Dark Knight Rises then take a look at this excerpt from the Hit Fix review below:

"I found the final movement of the film, a good thirty minutes or so, almost unbearably emotional, and I think it may be the best stretch in any of the films. There are some logic issues I have with parts of the film, and we'll get into those in the "Second Look," but there is a clean, uncompromised emotional arc that steamrolls those problems for me, and I think the film more than fulfills the promise made by the first two films."

Some other reviews have questioned whether the new film lives up to the high standards of the film's predecessor "The Dark Knight," which received a nomination for Best Picture Oscar, and won the Best Supporting Actor for Heath Ledger's performance as the Joker.

Nevertheless the finale of Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy will be sure to draw huge crowds at the weekend, and like most finale films in successful trilogies it is sure to have its critics as well as others singing its praises.
