While Jeff Goldblum is not going to be playing a role in Jurassic World, he hasn't quite forgotten his association with the iconic series and recently reprised his character in the most amusing way.

Recently, Goldblum made a wedding memorable by recreating the iconic T-Rex chase scene for a couple. The actor was attending his fiance's friends' wedding and was sport enough to play along with the idea. The moment was captured by photographer Adam Bisenthal

Goldblum played the role of Dr. Ian Malcolm in Jurassic Park (1994). In In an interview with I Am Rogue in March, while promoting Wes Anderson's The Grand Budapest Hotel, the actor spoke about not being cast in the film.

Goldblum had previously expressed interest in reprising his role as Malcolm in Jurassic World but he seems to have come to terms with the fact that he is not going to be in this one.

"I don't know anything about Jurassic Park so it seems that the ship is sailing and I'll buy a ticket to see it," he said.

The actor worked with Steven Spielberg on the first two installments of the film and suggests that he was very satisfied with the experience.

"I was very happy to do the two I did and to work with Mr. Steven Spielberg," he stated.

Jurassic World is being directed by Colin Trevorrow and will star Chris Pratt, Bryce-Dallas Howard, Jake Johnson, Omar Sy and Irrfan Khan.

The Jurassic Park films are based on Michael Crichton's series of novels about pre-historic beasts being revived by revolutionary gene technology. Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley are co-producing the film alongside Steven Spielberg, who directed the first two installments in the franchise.

The film will hit theaters on June 12, 2015.
