A topless photo of Kristen Saban, the daughter of University of Alabama football coach, went viral among students a month after her fight with her sorority sister Sarah Grimes.

Deadspin.com obtained the photo in 2010. The image was enclosed in an email titled: "Any interest in Nick Saban's daughter, who is a sophomore at Alabama, topless?"

"My brother, a recent Auburn grad, texted me this morning. From all accounts, it seems to be legit," the email stated from a man named David.

Deadspin's article also claims they received the image of Saban from a second source after the photo went viral on students' cellphones on campus.

Since the leak, Saban has protected her Twitter account from the public.

Kristen made headlines recently when a lawsuit was filed last month by her sorority sister Sarah Grimes. Grimes claims she suffered numerous injuries in a fight over a Facebook comment with Saban that were so severe that an emergency room doctor said it could have killed her, the suit claims.

Grimes was hurt so badly she suffered a concussion, an increase in headaches, had nasal surgery and required psychological help. Now Grimes is seeking an unspecified amount of at least $10,000.

An attorney for Kristen Saban filed a motion to dismiss the lawsuit, claiming the coach's daughter acted only in self-defense.
