As filming for season 6 of The Good Wife is currently underway, new images from the set are surfacing and the latest one reveals Eli Gould's (Alan Cumming) new look on the CBS series.

Will's Death A "Blessing In Disguise" Making For "Stronger Storylines" In Season 6 Of The Good Wife

In the picture, -- which was posted on the show's official Twitter account on August 8 -- Cumming is seen getting his hair styled in the dressing room before going on set. The image is tagged with a simple: "Eli is back."

Seems like Eli is really going to try and get Alicia (Julianna Margulies) to run for State's Attorney next season, and will go as far as to keep a standby campaign manager ready for her.

Spin-Off Of The Good Wife In The Works

An EW report dated July 18 revealed that Eli will be hiring an expert, who will be played by Steven Pasquale, to help Alicia. 

Here's the official synopsis for season 6:

"Picking up exactly where season five ended, Alicia is adamant in her refusal to run for State's Attorney. Between an internal crisis for Cary at Florrick/Agos and Diane possibly joining her firm, Alicia has way too much to juggle without the additional stress of politics."

The finale for season 2, titled A Weird Year, aired on May 18.

Season 6 of The Good Wife will premiere on CBS on September 21.
