According to Bleacher Report yesterday, Manchester United star Darren Fletcher nominated Ronaldo as part of the challenge. "I want to see you do this," Fletcher said at the end of his video.

Ronaldo hasn't yet responded to Fletcher's nomination on his social media handles, but he does have 24 hours.

The rules for the ALS Challenge are you either accept the challenge by pouring ice on your head and donating ten dollars to the ALS charity of your choice or you may donate 100 dollars to the ALS charity of your choice and not pour the bucket on your head.

Many celebrities have participated in the worthy cause already including Justin Timberlake, Lil Wayne and Conan O'Brien.

Ronaldo has had a good week so far. The soccer player won with his team Real Madrid the all-Spanish UEFA Super Cup against Sevilla on Tuesday. "This was a trophy I wanted because I haven't won it yet," he said via The Daily Mail. "I was nervous, but I managed to work well with the team and I am pleased."

On his Instagram, Ronaldo wrote afterwards "Great pic from a great night! #RealMadridSevilla #HalaMadrid #SuperCup Amazing kick off for the team." pleased." He then posted a solo picture with the Super Cup trophy. "UEFA SuperCup Champions #RealMadridSevilla #HalaMadrid #SuperCup @realmadrid".
