The cast of Penny Dreadful might be worried when it comes to saying too much about the upcoming season, but the producers seem perfectly comfortable with offering up the goods.

More Literary Characters Headed To 'Penny Dreadful' In Upcoming Episodes

Producer Christopher King has been posting set photos to Twitter all month.

On Wednesday King shared an outdoor pic of director James Hawes getting some work done on the set. "Our director @JamesEHawes greeting a Birdseye view," tweeted King, "Wonder what new set he's looking at?"

The picture suggests that the Victorian supernatural drama will continue with its grand landscape and cinematic style in the upcoming season.

Last week King revealed the first script of the season, enticingly entitled Fresh Hell.

"John Logan is at it again," insisted King below the photo. "Season 2 scripts are fantastic."

While King hasn't given away any major plot twists, he has had a bit of fun teasing out some sets and props. On August 12 he posted a photo on Twitter revealing quite a collection of bones that fans will be sure to see when the show returns next year.

"Just a typical Tuesday making skulls for #Penny Dreadful Season 2" he tweeted casually. The accompanying photo showed a table lined with a few dozen new skulls.

Even without context one thing is for certain: The drama won't be short on violence in the coming episodes.
