Apollo Nida, husband of The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks have been given the first date of his fraud sentence in which he must report to federal prison.

Nida has been ordered to turn himself in at the FMC Lexington prison on September 10 at noon, Radar Online revealed Wednesday.

He is slated to serve eight years behind bars at the Lexington, Ky. facility after he pleaded guilty for serious fraud charges including identity theft and tax evasion earlier this year. Nida also has to dish out roughly $2 million in order to pay back victims of his now very public scam.

Based on court documents the reality TV star turned fitness guru set up phony businesses so he could steal the personal information of clients who signed up for it. He also signed up for fraudulent bank accounts under the names of the victims to launder checks from government agency U.S. treasury as well as car loans.

But it didn't stop there. The father of two went on to make up his own car dealership and apply for financing using the personal information he stole. Nida was arrested for the scheme that brought in more than $2 million back in January. He pleaded guilty in May and was sentenced to eight years on July 8.

He was also in prison from 2004-2009 for racketeering charges.

As for as being an example for the young men who look up to him, Nida hopes they will not follow his lead but rather learn from his mistakes.

"Don't do as I do, but take my experiences and hope that it will give you a better platform," he told the site.
