He's only just recovered from a broken ankle and is returning to the set of Star Wars: Episode VII, but Harrison Ford is also reportedly prepping for another huge action-fueled role.

Harrison Ford 'Takes The Plunge?'

According to Entertainment Weekly, Ridley Scott has confirmed that not only is Blade Runner 2 in the works-but Ford is signed on to reprise his role as Rick Deckard in the film.

"It's written and it's damn good," Scott said of the sequel. "Of course it involves Harrison, who is a survivor after all these years-despite the accident. So yes, that will happen."

'Indiana Jones' To Go The Way Of 'James Bond?'

And while Blade Runner fans are no doubt ecstatic that the sequel will be made and Ford will be in it-but the film could also take precedence to another highly anticipated role for Ford-his return as Indiana Jones for Indiana Jones 5.

Ford has not confirmed a return to the franchise-nor had Disney confirmed a sequel was in the works-but fans have been hopeful since the company acquired the rights to the franchise that a film was going to be made, with Ford.

And while rumors of a reboot that wouldn't include Ford have been tossed around (with actors including Bradley Cooper and Robert Pattinson rumored to be taking over the role), the most recent rumors have suggested that Ford would be back for a fifth movie-but would hand the iconic whip and fedora over to someone else for the following films, a la James Bond.
