Juan Pablo Galavis and Nikki Ferrell are off on a romantic getaway but between the jet lag and the announcement of this season's new Bachelor, it seems Galavis is looking more to the past than the future this weekend.

Instead of sharing an old childhood pic for this week's "Throwback Thursday" on Twitter, the reality star elected to revisit the recent past. "March 10, 2014 right AFTER the AFTER The Final Rose… Dinner with FRIENDS…" tweeted the star alongside a pic of Ferrell in a red dress, seated beside their friends along a crowded long table.

Later that day Galavis shared a photo of him embracing Bachelor producers Peter Heist and Adam Mansfield. "Missing @petergiest and @AdamJMansfield," he wrote along with the March 2014 pic, "the only ONES that know the TRUTH of my RIDE…"

While Galavis is happy with Ferrell, whom he met and fell for during his time on the ABC series, he is relieved to be moving on with his life, having passed The Bachelor torch to new star Chris Soules on Wednesday.

Galavis and Ferrell are enjoying a relaxing vacation this week, which will give the couple some time together in neutral territory. With Ferrell living in Missouri and Galavis in Florida, the two have spent the last few months taking turns for visits. As things continue to get serious, however, they may begin to rethink their current living situation.
