Juan Pablo Galavis, Nikki Ferrell News: 'Couples Therapy' Consultant Blasts Critics, Thinks Former 'Bachelor' Made The Right Decision In Not Proposing To Girlfriend [VIDEO]
While Juan Pablo Galavis got a lot of heat from fans after not proposing to Nikki Ferrell during the season finale of ABC's The Bachelor, folks over at VH1's Couples Therapy are saying he made the right decision.

Sarah Michael Novia, a media psychotherapy consultant for the VH1 series, commended Galavis on Twitter Wednesday for deciding to wait.

Former 'Bachelor' Star Admits 'Errors' That Got Him Into Trouble
Galavis responded to the comment later that evening, joking that to propose to someone too soon is an absurd notion.

Novia agreed with the former soccer player, suggesting perhaps that Galavis and Ferrell have been pretty productive during their time on their new reality program.

Fans weren't happy during the season finale of The Bachelor, when Galavis elected to say "I like you" instead of "I love you" and elected to keep the ring in his pocket rather than propose to Ferrell. However, the pair are still together and continue to take things slow. In fact, Ferrell still lives in Missouri while Galavis remains in his Florida home.
Couples Therapy continues inn VH1 with its fifth season Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
