NorthJersey.com reported that Joe was sentenced to the 41 months and ordered to pay restitution of $414,588. U.S. District Court Judge Esther Salas scolded the couple in court about the "glaring omissions" in both of their financial disclosure forms. "They had an obligation to be transparent and candid and open with the court, and I don't think I got that," Salas reportedly said. "I want to understand the disconnect."

"I stand here humiliated before the court and my family and society," Joe reportedly said in court. "I disgraced many people, including my wife and four daughters. I take full responsibility for my actions. I promise to be a better person."

TMZ also reported that Joe must enter an alcohol rehab program while in jail. The couple reportedly broke down in tears when they heard the sentence. Teresa is still awaiting her sentence, but the judge said that if the Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member is sentenced to jail, she will stagger Teresa and Joe's time so that one parent can still be with their four girls.

"Your four daughters need to understand discipline. If you don't have it you shouldn't spend it," Judge Salas said in court. "If they won't like you because you're not driving a Benz or walking on Jimmy Choos or Manolo Blahniks then they're not your friends."

Teresa is supposed to be sentenced at some point this afternoon.
