While Shelton and fellow country artist Miranda Lambert have been the source of much gossip since their marriage in 2011, certain speculation still just rubs Shelton the wrong way.

In fact the singer, known for speaking his mind on Twitter, posted a comment on Friday berating the "morons" who spread lies about them.

According to E!, Shelton was referring to the divorce rumor started by Radar on Wednesday. Radar reported that a source had informed them that the singers are "barely together" and "continue to grow apart." The article also went on to claim that Lambert is trying to avoid a divorce.

While it's true both singers have been busy touring for their new albums, Lambert for Platinum and Shelton for Bringing Back the Sunshine, they have spent three years insisting that they are happy and have no intention of splitting. Back on May 9, Lambert told Billboard that the rumors have gotten pretty out of control. "I think I've had like five sets of twins in the last two years, and we've been divorced four times," she explained according to the tabloids, "and one of us had a $100 million divorce."

Shelton has not commented on the Radar article since his Friday post on Twitter and Lambert hasn't mentioned her husband on the social media site since she congratulated him on the release of his new album on Sept. 30.

It seems both singers are maintain a united front for the time being, even if the thing they are united in is silence.
