On Thursday, Indian Express posted a story on the actor who talked about one of his most frequently collaborated directors Farah Khan. While some might be curious on how Farah fits into an industry that might come off as secluded, Shahrukh made it clear that she's actually the one with the power.

"I genuinely think every world has a male-dominated area. It requires intelligence and guts to be in a man's world and say it like it is. Farah exudes power," Shahrukh said. "I think women are respected here, but the kind of respect she garners, is quite amazing."

The Indian actor also mentioned that it can be tough to spend time with friends since he spends most of his time at work.

"You get to make friends during the time you are working," he explained. "I have not worked with Karan (Johar) for the last two years, so I have not spent time with him. With Farah, I'm working from the last one and a half years, but before that, for two years, I didn't spend time with her."
