The sci-fi series has been teasing the two-part finale all season with short end-of-episode clips, and the mystery surrounding Missy will come to a conclusion in "Dark Water" and "Death in Heaven."

Known as the Gatekeeper of the Nethersphere, Missy will finally come in contact with the Doctor in the last two episodes. Something is brewing with the cybermen and death, and showrunner Steven Moffat informed Doctor Who Magazine (via Doctor Who TV) that death will be "shocking, uncompromising, gruesome and surprisingly grown up."
