Matthew McConaughey's new film Interstellar is about going to space, but during the film's premiere, he revealed he would never leave his wife Camila Alves and kids behind.
"Oh, that's not easy to answer," the Oscar winner said via Us Weekly Monday about going into space. "I've got family and I don't want to be the guinea pig, and I'd have to see how long I'd be gone and if I could take them with me."
According to The New York Daily News however, McConaughey and his wife had a "heated" discussion after the Interstellar premiere. After sitting on a couch together, the two "suddenly excused themselves and began a heated exchange a few feet away."
A rep for the actor denied any fighting between husband and wife, though saying "They were the last ones to close the party down" and the two left because the Interstellar after-party was over.
The two seemed to make up since The Daily Mail showed them all loved up at LAX on Monday staring happily at each other. Both were wearing black leather jackets, while Alves wore a grey dress with black sandals. She wore her brown locks straight and down.
McConaughey wore khakis and a grey t-shirt with sunglasses. He also donned a trucker style hat with his signature phrase "alright on it."
Interstellar is set to open November 7.
