One of the massive rumors going around right now is that Aquaman won't be appearing for the first time in future DC movies because the hero actually had an unknown cameo in a previous movie that showed him aiding Superman prior to the hero coming on the scene.

'Arrow' Star Doesn't Agree With A Casting Choice Of One 'Justice League' Member

The rumor before stated that Aquaman appeared in an cameo during Man of Steel when Superman was saving the men during the massive oil spill. When the oil leaked into the ocean, Aquaman raced to help out his marine friends and found Superman floating in the water. He had viewed all the events that transpired and realized that he had nothing to do with the spill and saved him.

Now Latino Review has posted an image on Twitter that suggests this crazy rumor could have some feet to it and that DC and Warner Bros. were thinking about making Justice League for longer than most of us expected.

'Wonder Woman' Could Be Taking Us Back In Time With Her Story

The new image is of Superman floating in the water and shows whales  that could be used to save the hero and that are sent by Aquaman to help him out.

It is hinted that Jason Momoa's Aquaman may have a beef with Superman over that event and it could lead to some early tension during Justice League (much like Captain America and Iron Man in The Avengers).

As of now, Momoa may be appearing first in Batman v. Superman briefly before his role is expanded in Justice League Part 1 with his own standalone coming afterwards.
