One of Alicia's (Julianna Margulies) most menacing clients is set to return in an upcoming episode of season 6 of The Good Wife.

Alicia To Reckon With Formidable Competition For State's Attorney Race

Colin Sweeney (Dylan Baker) will be coming back as will his partner in crime, his third wife, Renata (Laura Benanti). Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, the CBS legal drama's co-producer, Robert King, dished about the case that would bring Sweeney to Alicia again.

"Colin Sweeney wants the firm to sue a TV show for defamation after the show steals his character, and makes it look like he killed his first wife. Laura Benanti also returns as his estranged third wife, Renata, who decides to testify against him in court," King said.

But it's going to be a bit of a wait as the episode will air in 2015.

Sweeney is a client Alicia loves to hate returns with another case, as he always puts her in a moral quandary. In the past, Alicia felt cheated by Sweeney when she helped negotiate a case implicating him for the murder of his wife, as he told her that he actually did commit the crime. Then again he put her in an extremely sticky situation wherein he called Alicia to the scene of the crime, making her a witness when the body is discovered in his home.

The recently revealed preview for the next episode of season 6 of The Good Wife shows Diane (Christine Baranski) warning Cary (Matt Czuchry) that he was days away from spending a decade in prison.

Cary is seen confronting Diane about not representing him well enough in court, and demanding that she needed to protect him more on the stand. At which point, Diane is seen informing him that he could be put away for a very long time.

The clip also shows Alicia (Julianna Margulies) making a faux pas as she tries to help out at a soup kitchen while washing the dishes, but is dressed in an expensive attire. As the photo op is part of her campaigning, Eli (Alan Cumming) is seen pulling her up for wearing clothes that make it look like she is "dressed for a dinner party."

Previously, TVLine suggested that it was ikely that Cary will be going to be thrown into the lock up again and the inference is made from the fact that the CBS show is getting a new character, Tim, who is meant to play a "prison consultant" for Cary. Tim is an ex-convict whose role would be to advise Cary to help him survive in prison.

The next episode will air on November 9 at 9:30 pm ET and 9 pm PT on CBS.
