Carrie Underwood flaunted her baby bump in a series of elegant gowns last Wednesday for the 48th Annual CMA Awards, but this week the country music sensation opted to conceal her stomach as she filmed a performance for this year's CMA Christmas Special.

According to E! on Saturday, the singer wore a sapphire blue dress for the Christmas production, loose around the waist with silver accents lining her shoulders and sides.

The gown is a drastic change for the singer, who wore a total of 10 different dresses when she and Brad Paisley hosted the CMA Awards last week. This time around Underwood decided to keep things simple for the Christmas special, which will be out around the same time as her new album.

Underwood didn't just show off her baby bump at awards on Wednesday. If Paisley's "slip" during the CMA Awards was right, the show also provided a platform to announce the Somethin' Bad singer's gender: a baby boy due in Spring 2015.

With the CMA Awards and the release of her Something In The Water music video (featured below), her child will certainly be able to look back when he is older at some pretty extravagant footage of his mother's pregnancy.

Underwood announced in September that she and husband Mike Fisher are expecting their first child together. Fisher plays in the NHL for the Nashville Predators, though he intends to be off the road and back at home by the time Underwood gives birth.

The CMA Country Christmas Special will air on ABC in December.

Underwood's upcoming album, Greatest Hits: Decade #1, will hit stores Dec. 9.
