The first official teaser for season 2 of HBO's hit gay dramedy Looking has arrived, and it appears that the situation for Patrick (Jonathon Groff) hasn't gotten any better since we last saw him in a major romantic dilemma.

Patrick & Kevin Grow Closer In New Season?

Though the teaser is pretty much just colorful flashes of Patrick's, Kevin's (Russell Tovey), Richie's (Raul Castillo), Agustin's (Frankie J. Alvarez) and Dom's (Murray Bartlett) faces set to Tiga's Far From Home, it does also manage to show that Patrick may still find himself completely torn between his estranged boyfriend and his boss.

Back in season 1, a looking for love Patrick met and truly began to fall for Richie, and the two were slowly moving through the stages of a normal relationship. Unfortunately things began to fall apart between them, as Patrick's boss, Kevin, began to make the moves on him. The season ultimately ended with Patrick having sex with Kevin at the office-and his relationship with Richie wouldn't likely recover.

'A Lot' Happening On Season 2 of Looking

The teaser shows that Patrick may still be torn however as he looks at both Kevin and Richie.

Although he may be torn between them and could still want to try and fix his relationship with Richie, Patrick's decision may be made for him however, after Richie gets a new love interest. Reports surfaced in September that Crossbones' Chris Perfetti joined the show in the new role of Brady, an opinionated San Franciscan who writes for the weekly paper when he's not busy managing its classifieds, and was set to romance a series regular-and reports earlier than that announced his character would serve as Richie's new boyfriend.

Looking season 2 premieres Jan. 11, 2015 on HBO.
