An upcoming episode of Fox's Bones will feature a sure-to-be-fun storyline with Brennan (Emily Deschanel) with Aubrey (John Boyd).

'Bones' 200th Episode Pays Tribute To Hollywood Legend

Aubrey will be moving from working with Booth (David Boreanaz) to working with Brennan in the upcoming ninth episode of this season of Bones. Fox has released a plot synopsis for the episode, titled The Mutilation of the Master Manipulator.

"When the Jeffersonian team investigates the remains of a college psychology professor, the victim's controversial social experiments on his grad students garners a list of highly motivated suspects," the plot synopsis reads. "Meanwhile, Booth is sidelined with online traffic school, causing Brennan to team up with Aubrey, and Wendell [Michael Grant Terry] struggles with his feelings towards a chemotherapy treatment nurse."

This episode is set to air on Thursday, Dec. 4.

Meanwhile, the next episode of Bones, which airs Thursday night, features a big storyline involving Aubrey and Booth.

"The dynamic between Booth and Aubrey is sort of big brother-younger brother," Boyd explains in a new sneak peek of the episode. "When my character first shows up [Booth is] kind of in a pretty dark place and definitely doesn't wanna let me in.

"We kind of see a new side of Booth, looking after him," Boyd adds. "And we get to see sort of a fire in him."

Bones airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.
