Patriarch Todd Chrisley of USA's Chrisley Knows Best is known as a pro when it comes to raising his children so it is no surprise he has served up criticism for what he says is the wrong way to nurture a child.

Chrisley made an appearance on The Queen Latifah Show earlier this week and said that the one thing he does not tolerate more than anything else, is a liar.

"I can help you with anything. But a lie I can't help you with. So, I don't want you to lie to me."

He also admitted that he refuses to leave his children home alone.

"So don't ask. Nope. I know if it's Chase, I know what he would like to have happen. I don't feel comfortable going to dinner or whatever and leaving my kids unsupervised. If I'm not at home and my kids are on the Internet or on the phone and something happens, whose responsible for that?"

He added that when children tell or show you who they are, take that as valid.

"And my heathens have shown me."

Chrisley and his family have been in the spotlight not only for their hit series but also the issues they are having when the cameras are not rolling. Their $45 million bankruptcy case has thrashed them into headlines.

He recently told People that they are in the "final phases" of wrapping up the situation.

Chrisley's son Kyle Chrisley has also become the center ofa ttention for the family. He blasted Todd for being a snake who not only booted him from Chrisley Knows Best but also took his two-year-old daughter Chloe to boost ratings for the show.

Chrisley told the magazine last month, "He has his struggles. As a family, we all continue to lift him up."
