There is a lot of destruction already being teased for the next Thor movie and the death of many characters could be happening but what about the land of Asgard? Will Thor have somewhere to go home after this movie?

Thor Will Die In The Third Movie, But He Won't Be Lost Forever

HeyUGuys speculated last week on a few things that could happen during Thor: Ragnarok and believes that the destruction of Asgard is something very likely to happen by the end of the movie.

According to the site, the stunning golden city exploding and crashing to pieces would make for a very memorable moment, and if Marvel isn't planning on killing off Thor, leaving him without a home could be a very interesting direction to take a fourth installment of his franchise in.

Who Is This Fiery Villain That Thor Is Going To Face In His Third Movie?

Right now, the rumor that Thor could die at the end of the movie in order to keep him waiting for the third Avengers film is something that could happen. But having Asgard be destroyed is another way Marvel could go to keep Thor alive, but have him lost in between the next movies as he is floating around space.

Either way, destruction is coming to Thor 3 and it will either end with the end of the God of Thunder for awhile or his homeland.

The film is set to bring back Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston with other big names like Idris Elba and Anthony Hopkins also coming back. There is no word yet if Natalie Portman is returning and there are murmurs that she may be cut from it.

Thor: Ragnarok is set to open in theaters in 2017.
