Patricia Arquette and Laura Dern commented on the nude photo scandal in the new issue of The Hollywood Reporter.

Kaley Cuoco Reveals Many Leaked Photos Were 'Fake'

Since September, several celebrities, including Jennifer Lawrence, Rihanna, Jenny McCarthy, KeKe Palmer, Nina Dobrev, Kate Upton and Vanessa Hudgens, have been targeted by hackers, who have shared their photos on sites, including Reddit and 4Chan. In response to the scandal, Arquette and Dern spoke to THR, slamming the hackers and defending the women and men who were victimized.

After explaining that sending provacative images is simply an itimate act between couples that shouldn't be frowned upon, Arquette explained to The Hollywood Reporter on Nov. 19. "What is deviant is when a community decides that they can break into your sexuality, steal that from you, insert themselves, observe your private sexuality."

Arquette went on to call out those who have blamed the celebrities for the leak, claiming they should have been more responsible. Deeming the act "victim-blaming," Arquette proclaimed that just because someone sends a photo, knowing they are famous, does not give the public the right to "communally molest" them.

"My boundaries are clear about how I want to live my private life," added Dern. "How I want my children to be protected. The privilege of having a community of friends who do deal with the Internet celebrity and their intimacy being exposed or invaded, they help me define everything."

Talk show host Wendy Williams also addressed the photo scandal. To see what Williams had to say, check out the video below.
