Kiss Macy's Parade 2014 Performance VIDEO: Legendary Rock Band Hypes Crowd Despite Lip-syncing Issues
Legendary rock band Kiss continues to celebrate its 40th anniversary with a debut performance at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on Thursday.
Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons and the rest of the group rocked out on a float in their trademark attire and became one of the highlights of the New York City parade. The group, which was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in April, performed "Rock n Roll All Night."
NBC's Today hosts Matt Lauer, Al Roker and Savannah Guthrie, who anchored the parade, even turned to bow down as they passed them by.
Some people, however, were quick to point out that their lip-syncing skills weren’t on point.
After 35 years, KISS's new guitarist may be the only person in America who does not know the words to Rock & Roll All Nite. #FreeAceFrehley

Oh, no. Kiss didn't know when to lip-sync #MacysThanksgivingDayParade

Why did the worst lip-synchers ever just represent KISS? And "one for the ages" Al? Ok, done with this parade.

Yet, despite the minor difficulties, most fans were thrilled to see the legends at the parade.
