Actor and newest Dancing With the Stars winner Alfonso Ribeiro had his moment in the spotlight this fall, and now he is hoping to continue working in the entertainment industry.

Now that Ribeiro has separated himself from the Carlton character he played on The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, he is hoping to use his public identity for future endeavors.

"I definitely want to host some things. I feel like America has started to fall in love with Alfonso, and not the characters that I might've played throughout my career," Ribeiro told Access Hollywood this week. "So we're definitely going to go out and pitch a few shows that I'm going to be hosting and see where that takes us. But I kind of want to do it all. That's kind of been the blessing and the curse of my career. I kinda love doing everything, so I never focus on one thing."

Ribeiro beat out his close competition last Tuesday to win Dancing With the Stars. The actor was competing against Duck Dynasty star Sadie Robertson and Pretty Little Liars actress Janel Parrish, two very formidable competitors.

The actor became a frontrunner early on in the season, and all but won the season after he broke out "the Carlton" in Week 4.

Ribeiro admitted to Access Hollywood that he is feeling "so blessed" at the moment.

"I feel so happy."

Dancing With the Stars is scheduled to return for season 20 in March on ABC, though the network has not yet announced a specific air date.
