After learning Britt (Kelly Theibaud) had lied to him once again, Nikolas (Tyler Christopher)once again turned to Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst)-but has been equally shocked by her latest actions on General Hospital.

Sam Questions Patrick About Jason

After learning from Elizabeth that his crazy grandmother Helena (Constance Towers) had somehow come back from the dead once again, he also realized she had invited "Jake" (Billy Miller) to stay with her after he was discharged from the hospital-a move that has him wary of the John Doe-and Elizabeth's choice to let him stay with her.

"Did it ever occur to you that this stranger might be a homicidal maniac?" he asks Elizabeth in a preview clip for the Monday, Dec. 8 episode.

Britt Worries About Her Future

Of course, what Nikolas, Elizabeth-and no one else except Helena knows-Jake is really the revived Jason Morgan-who has been given an assignment by Helena to commit a crime-one he may do if he truly believes she has the ability to brainwash him and program to do her bidding.

Jason potentially listening to Helena is yet another part of her master scheme that is still being kept under wraps-but also involved several Luke Spencer imposters-including Faison (Anders Hove), who is being escorted back to prison by Anna (Finola Hughes), Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Nathan (Ryan Paevy)-or should be, before Helena's plan to keep her accomplice free from prison is enacted.

Her plan to keep Faison from prison could work though, as the escort is set to be interrupted by gunshots.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
