As season 5 progresses, Doris McGarrett and Wo Fat's father are at the top of the soldier's list. McGarrett now knows that his mother raised Wo Fat for quite some time, but piecing together the rest of the story will take a little extra detective work.

"Now that he has this new information, I think there'll probably be at some point an episode where he's going to end up meeting Wo Fat's father," teased executive producer Peter Lenkov, according to TV Guide. "I think that's destined to happen. But I think for him it's really about finally locating his mother and getting some kind of closure to this whole thing. And I think once that's done, he can maybe sleep a little more peacefully."

Ellie Clayton To Return On 'Hawaii Five-0', Gets Physical With McGarrett

It looks like that particular plot will have to wait until after the midseason hiatus, however. The CBS drama will close out the first half of season 5 with a Christmas episode, which is set to air on Dec. 12.
