The married couple left the world of law enforcement last season, but Jane and Lisbon's old CBI buddies will pop up in the series finale.

"Yep," said actor Tim Kang (Cho), confirming the return of Amanda Righetti (Van Pelt) and Owain Yeoman (Rigsby) on Monday. "It'll be great to see them again!"

Kang did not specify which episode Rigsby and Van Pelt will appear in, but the CBS drama only has one more episode to film. Titled "White Orchids," the series finale will close the case on the FBI's latest serial killer.

As the series completes its seven-year run, creator Bruno Heller is preparing a hopeful ending.

"One of the things about getting rid of the Red John story is it allows us to play the essential lightness at heart of the show much more strongly. It's not a tragic, doom-laden show," said series creator Bruno Heller, according to Yahoo! TV. "It's not about trauma. It's about hope, and that's very much how we wanted to leave the show."
