As production takes place on the new James Bond movie, the cast has spoken about how excited they are to either return or join the franchise. One new cast member even went as far as to say her character is as "strong as James Bond."

In an interview last week with Hey U Guys, Lea Seydoux talked about joining the franchise and her first impressions of the character that she would be playing in the movie.

"Being cast (in the film) is amazing, and being with all these actors is right and now I'm looking forward to starting the film," she said.

"She's strong but she's like (James) Bond in a way. She's strong and she's very sensitive. She's very fragile and I think that Bond is the same way so she became more masculine and I think Bond is more feminine. I think (James Bond) brings something very modern because he has this duality and I think that's what we like to see; more like tortured."

She also talked briefly about her expectations for the film and what it was like to get the chance to work with director Sam Mendes on the project.

"I'm looking forward to working with (Sam Mendes) because he is a great director. I love his films and I can see that he has a great vision and is very smart. I found it so exciting," Seydoux said.

The cast is already hard at work as production began late last week on the film. She is joined by newcomers Christoph Waltz, Dave Bautista, Monica Bellucci and Andrew Scott in the cast.
