Miesha Tate has some unfinished business with 25-year-old Strikeforce women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey. After coming off a third round victory against Julie Kedzie on Aug. 18,  she is looking to parlay that momentum into a potential rematch against the 6-0 Rousey, who defeated her on March 3.

Tate said the following on Aug. 14 about having the opportunity to avenge her loss to the No. 1 ranked female bantamweight, according to MMA Weekly:

"I love it... I think that would be the fight to put on if they were going to do that. It doesn't get any better than Ronda and I; two ladies who honestly have a rival between each other.... I feel like there's unfinished business."

Not one to make excuses for her shortcomings, the 13-3 competitor went on to discuss her submissive loss to Rousey.

"I have to hold myself accountable.  I think I allowed myself to be mentally beat before I came through the cage....  I was confident that I was going to win the fight, maybe too confident, but I wasn't in the right mindset," she said, according to the site.  "I should have been more conscious of what was going on and not paid as much attention to promotion and things like that.  I realize that now."

Rousey has not yet responded back to the proposed rematch.

In her personal life, Tate is currently dating Team Alpha Male fighter Bryan Caraway.
